What is CrimeWatch?

CrimeWatch was founded in 1994 in order to provide law enforcement agencies and system administrators with shared information as pertaining to Internet related criminal activity.
Currently, CrimeWatch has members from many Federal, State and local law enforcement officials to include instructors, District Attorney Investigators, foreign law enforcement and computer forensic experts.

Who may join CrimeWatch?

CrimeWatch is limited to verified law enforcement and security professionals.
Travis Haymore will moderate all subscriptions and verify given information before being added to the list.

What kind of content?

The content of the information shared can be a wide variety of information to include hacking groups, where they hang out, what exploits/scripts they re using, any known past criminal activity and anything current.
We'd also like to share information on new exploits not yet known to the public and new information on computer forensic techniques.

Who is the moderator?

The list moderator, Travis Haymore, is a 12 year law enforcement veteran with 10 of those on the streets and 2 as a Computer Crimes Investigator for the Federal Government.
